เอสซีจี คว้า 8 รางวัล “Thailand Corporate Excellence Awards 2019” สะท้อนความมุ่งมั่นสร้างสรรค์นวัตกรรมเพื่อสร้างการเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนทั่วภูมิภาค
เอสซีจี รับ 3 รางวัลพระราชทาน และ 5 รางวัลดีเด่น จากเวที “Thailand Corporate Excellence Awards 2019” ที่จัดโดยสมาคมการจัดการธุรกิจแห่งประเทศไทย (TMA) ร่วมกับสถาบันบัณฑิตบริหารธุรกิจศศินทร์ แห่งจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย สะท้อนความมุ่งมั่นตั้งใจในการพัฒนานวัตกรรมสินค้าและบริการ ด้วยการเปิดกว้างสร้างความร่วมมือ การนำเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลและแนวคิดเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนมาประยุกต์ใช้ รวมทั้งการพัฒนาการบริหารจัดการธุรกิจทุกด้านให้ดียิ่งขึ้น เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการของลูกค้า ตลอดจนสร้างความยั่งยืนให้สังคม ผู้มีส่วนได้เสีย และสิ่งแวดล้อมทั่วทั้งภูมิภาคตลอดมา โดยมีพลเอก ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรี ให้เกียรติร่วมงานด้วย
นายรุ่งโรจน์ รังสิโยภาส กรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ เอสซีจี กล่าวว่า “รางวัลพระราชทานอันทรงเกียรติ 3 รางวัล รวมทั้งรางวัลดีเด่นอีก 5 รางวัล ที่เอสซีจีได้รับจากงาน Thailand Corporate Excellence Awards 2019 ครั้งนี้ ทำให้ชาวเอสซีจีรู้สึกยินดีและภาคภูมิใจเป็นอย่างสูง เพราะถือเป็นเครื่องยืนยันถึงการได้รับความเชื่อมั่นและไว้วางใจจากผู้บริหารระดับสูงทั่วประเทศและคณะกรรมการผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ที่เล็งเห็นถึงความตั้งใจของเอสซีจีในการพัฒนานวัตกรรมสินค้าและบริการใหม่ ๆ ผ่านการเปิดกว้างสร้างความร่วมมือกับภาคส่วนต่าง ๆ ทั้งในและต่างประเทศ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นองค์กรชั้นนำขนาดใหญ่ อย่างล่าสุดที่ได้ร่วมกับสถาบันบัณฑิตวิทยาศาสตร์จีน (CAS) ในการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ด้านเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมในอุตสาหกรรมแห่งอนาคต รวมทั้งการร่วมกับสตาร์ทอัพชั้นนำในภูมิภาคต่าง ๆ ในการนำเทคโนโลยีที่มีประสิทธิภาพมาประยุกต์ใช้หรือสร้างโอกาสใหม่ ๆ ทางธุรกิจที่ช่วยเพิ่มขีดความสามารถทางการแข่งขันในตลาดโลกให้ดีและรวดเร็วยิ่งขึ้น ตลอดจนความตั้งใจในการปรับปรุงประสิทธิภาพการบริหารจัดการด้านต่าง ๆ อย่างไม่หยุดยั้งตลอดระยะเวลากว่า 106 ปีขององค์กร เพื่อให้สามารถตอบสนองความต้องการของลูกค้าทุกกลุ่มที่มีความหลากหลายและเปลี่ยนแปลงไปอย่างรวดเร็วได้ดียิ่งขึ้น
นอกจากนี้ การที่ล่าสุดเอสซีจีได้รับรางวัล “SET Awards 2019” จากตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย ประเภทรางวัลเกียรติยศบริษัทจดทะเบียนด้านความยั่งยืน และรางวัลหุ้นยั่งยืน ซึ่งมอบให้กับบริษัทจดทะเบียนที่มีความโดดเด่นในการดำเนินธุรกิจตามแนวทางการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนและเป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีสำหรับธุรกิจในตลาดทุนไทย จึงสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความมุ่งมั่นของเอสซีจีในการสร้างการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนในทุกพื้นที่ที่เอสซีจีเข้าไปดำเนินธุรกิจได้เป็นอย่างดี โดยมีแนวคิดเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนเป็นหลักสำคัญที่เชื่อมให้เกิดความร่วมมือกับภาคส่วนต่าง ๆ เพื่อให้เกิดการใช้ทรัพยากรอย่างคุ้มค่าตลอดวงจรการผลิต การบริโภค และการหมุนเวียนกลับมาใช้ใหม่
อย่างไรก็ตาม ความสำเร็จดังกล่าวจะเกิดขึ้นไม่ได้เลยหากไม่มีพนักงานเอสซีจีทุกคนที่ร่วมแรงร่วมใจกันขับเคลื่อนองค์กร ซึ่งเราก็สัญญาว่าจะยังคงเดินหน้าสร้างความร่วมมือกับภาคส่วนต่าง ๆ เพื่อเสริมประสิทธิภาพการตอบโจทย์ลูกค้า และสร้างการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืนให้กับสังคม ผู้มีส่วนได้เสียที่เกี่ยวข้อง และสิ่งแวดล้อม ซึ่งจะเป็นรากฐานสำคัญในการสร้างธุรกิจให้เติบโตอย่างแข็งแกร่งต่อไป”
ทั้งนี้ โครงการรางวัลพระราชทาน “Thailand Corporate Excellence Awards” ดังกล่าว จัดขึ้นเป็นปีที่ 17 โดยสมาคมการจัดการธุรกิจแห่งประเทศไทย ร่วมกับสถาบันบัณฑิตบริหารธุรกิจศศินทร์ แห่งจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อเพิ่มศักยภาพและช่วยยกระดับขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันทั้งในระดับองค์กรและในระดับประเทศ โดยปีนี้เอสซีจีได้รับรางวัล รวม 8 รางวัล ประกอบด้วย 3 ถ้วยรางวัลพระราชทาน สมเด็จพระกนิษฐาธิราชเจ้า กรมสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาฯ สยามบรมราชกุมารี ซึ่งมอบให้แก่องค์กรที่มีผลคะแนนรวมสูงสุดจากการสำรวจความคิดเห็นของผู้บริหารระดับสูง ในสาขา 1.) ความเป็นเลิศด้านนวัตกรรมและการสร้างสรรค์สิ่งใหม่ ๆ (Innovation Excellence) ต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 13 2.) ความเป็นเลิศด้านการจัดการทรัพยากรบุคคล (Human Resource Management Excellence) ต่อเนื่องเป็นปีที่ 17 3.) ความเป็นเลิศด้านการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Excellence) เป็นปีที่ 10 และ 5 ถ้วยรางวัล Distinguished Awards ซึ่งมอบให้แก่องค์กรที่มีผลคะแนนรวมในอันดับรองลงมา โดยเอสซีจีได้รับรางวัลในสาขา 1.) ความเป็นเลิศด้านการบริหารทางการเงิน (Financial Management Excellence) 2.) ความเป็นเลิศด้านผู้นำ (Leadership Excellence) 3.) ความเป็นเลิศด้านด้านสินค้า / การบริการ (Product / Service Excellence) และธุรกิจเคมิคอลส์ เอสซีจี ได้รับรางวัลในสาขา 1.) ความเป็นเลิศด้านนวัตกรรมและการสร้างสรรค์สิ่งใหม่ ๆ (Innovation Excellence) 2.) ความเป็นเลิศด้านผู้นำ (Leadership Excellence)

Reflecting Continuous Commitment to Innovation Development to Promote Regional Sustainable Growth
SCG earned 3 royally-bestowed excellence awards and 5 distinguished awards from "Thailand Corporate Excellence Award 2019," organized by the Thailand Management Association (TMA) and Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University. The awards recognized SCG for its outstanding sustained commitment to developing innovation and services through open collaboration and incorporation of digital technology and the circular economy. The recognition also signifies SCG's business management improvement in all aspects to meet the needs of customers as well as building sustainability to society, stakeholders, and environment throughout the region. The award presentation ceremony was honored by the attendance of Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha.

The achievement reflects SCG’s continued commitment to building sustainability in areas where SCG operates with its core business concept of circular economy to forge collaborations with many sectors to increase resource efficiency throughout the production cycle, consumption and recycling.

“Thailand Corporate Excellence Awards” has been organized for 17 consecutive years by the Thailand Management Association in collaboration with Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University (Sasin) to increase potentiality and enhance the competitiveness of organizations at both corporate and national level. This year, SCG earned 8 awards in total, which are 3 HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Awards offered to companies that made the highest voting score from the top executives in following functional excellences: Innovation Excellence (for 13 consecutive years), Human Resource Management Excellence (for 17 consecutive years), and Sustainable Development Excellence (for the 10th time), and 5 Distinguished Awards presented to companies with 2nd – 5th highest voting scores in following functional excellences: Financial Management Excellence (SCG), Leadership Excellence (SCG), Product/Service Excellence (SCG), Innovation Excellence (Chemicals Business, SCG) and Leadership Excellence (Chemicals Business, SCG).
