กรุงเทพฯ 10 กันยายน 2561 : ดุสิตธานีเดินหน้าขยายการลงทุนตามแผนยุทธศาสตร์ ประกาศเข้าลงทุนด้วยการซื้อหุ้นทั้งหมดในบริษัท LVM Holdings Pte Ltd.  ซึ่งเป็นเจ้าของแบรนด์ในกลุ่ม “อีลิธ เฮเวนส์” (Elite Havens) ซึ่งเป็นผู้นำในธุรกิจตลาดให้เช่าวิลล่าระดับบนในเอเชีย ด้วยมูลค่ารวม 495 ล้านบาท  เพื่อรุกเข้าสู่ธุรกิจการบริหารจัดการและให้เช่าวิลล่าระดับหรูแบบครบวงจร ครอบคลุมประเทศต่างๆ ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ทั้งอินโดนีเซีย ศรีลังกา มัลดีฟส์ และประเทศไทย

นางศุภจี สุธรรมพันธุ์ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารกลุ่ม บริษัท ดุสิตธานี จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ DTC เปิดเผยว่า  บริษัท Dusit Overseas Company Limited ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทย่อยของบริษัทฯ ที่จดทะเบียนที่ฮ่องกง ได้บรรลุข้อตกลงในการเข้าลงทุนด้วยการซื้อหุ้นทั้งหมดของ LVM Holdings Pte Ltd. ซึ่งจดทะเบียนที่ประเทศสิงค์โปร์ และเป็น Ultimate Holding Company ของกลุ่มแบรนด์ “อีลิธ เฮเวนส์” (Elite Havens)  ซึ่งเป็นเจ้าของธุรกิจบริหารจัดการและให้เช่าวิลล่าหรูรายใหญ่ที่สุดในเอเชีย ด้วยมูลค่าการลงทุนทั้งสิ้น 15 ล้านเหรียญสหรัฐ หรือประมาณ 495 ล้านบาท

ทั้งนี้ LVM Holdings Pte Ltd.  เป็นบริษัทที่ถือหุ้นโดยตรงและโดยอ้อมในบริษัทอีก 9 แห่งที่จัดตั้งในประเทศต่างๆ ในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ จัดตั้งขึ้นตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2541 เพื่อประกอบธุรกิจทำการตลาด ดำเนินการจอง รวมถึงรับดูแลบริหารจัดการและให้เช่าวิลล่าหรูพร้อมพนักงานคุณภาพแบบครบวงจรภายใต้แบรนด์ “อีลิธ เฮเวนส์” โดยปัจจุบันมีเครือข่ายวิลล่าที่อยู่ในความดูแลจำนวนมากกว่า 200 แห่งในประเทศต่างๆ ในภูมิภาค ทั้งอินโดนีเซีย ศรีลังกา มัลดีฟส์ และประเทศไทย
สำหรับการเข้าลงทุนในแบรนด์ “อีลิธ เฮเวนส์” เป็นไปตามแผนยุทธศาสตร์การเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืนของบริษัท ใน 3 ด้าน ประกอบด้วย การสร้างความสมดุลให้กับธุรกิจ การกระจายความเสี่ยง และการสร้างเป้าหมายในการเติบโต โดยการลงทุนครั้งนี้ เป็นการเดินตามยุทธศาสตร์การสร้างการเติบโต ด้วยการเพิ่มจำนวนห้องพัก และการขยายธุรกิจให้ครอบคลุมทุกกลุ่มธุรกิจการให้บริการที่พักและทุกประสบการณ์ของนักเดินทาง โดยเรามองว่า ตลาดในส่วนนี้มีโอกาสเติบโตในอนาคตตามไลฟ์สไตล์ของกลุ่มลูกค้าระดับบนที่มองหาวิลล่าขนาดใหญ่ที่หรูหรา สะดวกสบาย และมีความเป็นส่วนตัว ที่มาพร้อมกับการบริการชั้นเลิศประจำในแต่ละวิลล่า ไม่ว่าจะเป็นพนักงานต้อนรับ พ่อครัว แม่บ้านที่ให้บริการตามต้องการของลูกค้าที่เข้าพักตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง

“ในช่วงที่ผ่านมา ดุสิตธานีได้เริ่มทดลองขยายสู่ตลาด “เศรษฐกิจแบ่งปัน” หรือ sharing-economy ผ่านการลงทุนในบริษัท เฟฟเสตย์ (favstay) เมื่อปีที่ผ่านมา และเริ่มขยายฐานไปจับกลุ่มลูกค้ามิลเลนเนียลผ่านแบรนด์ “อาศัย” (ASAI) ที่เป็นโรงแรมแบบไลฟ์ไสตล์บูทิค และในครั้งนี้เราขยับเข้าสู่ธุรกิจบริหารและให้เช่าวิลล่าหรู เพราะเราเชื่อมั่นว่าด้วยประสบการณ์และความเชี่ยวชาญเราตลอดระยะเวลากว่า 70 ปีในการบริหารธุรกิจโรงแรม บริการและการท่องเที่ยวระดับห้าดาวที่มีอยู่ทั่วโลกจะสามารถช่วยสนับสนุนการขยายแบรนด์ของอีลิธ เฮเวนส์ ให้เติบโตครอบคลุมแหล่งท่องเที่ยวสำคัญทั่วเอเชียและภูมิภาคอื่นๆ ที่สำคัญ” นางศุภจีกล่าว

ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารกลุ่มดุสิตธานี กล่าวด้วยว่า แม้ว่า การบริหารและให้เช่าวิลล่าหรูครบวงจร จะเป็นธุรกิจใหม่ที่มีความท้าทาย แต่กลุ่มดุสิตธานีก็มั่นใจในประสบการณ์ที่แข็งแกร่งของ อีลิธ เฮเวนส์ ในการเป็นผู้นำในธุรกิจนี้มาตลอดระยะเวลา 20 ปี   ดังนั้น การรุกเข้าสู่ธุรกิจใหม่ในครั้งนี้จึงนับเป็นการต่อยอดการดำเนินธุรกิจจากฐานเดิมที่บริษัทฯ มีความคุ้นเคยไปสู่การสร้างประสบการณ์ใหม่ และยังเป็นการตอกย้ำให้เห็นถึงการเดินตามแผนยุทธศาสตร์ ด้วยการแสวงหาโอกาสในการลงทุนเพื่อสร้างสมดุลและกระจายความเสี่ยงให้กับธุรกิจ และสร้างความเติบโตอย่างแข็งแกร่งให้กับกลุ่มดุสิตธานีในอนาคตอีกด้วย

Dusit enters luxury villa rental market
with acquisition of Elite Havens

Bangkok, 10 September 2018 – Dusit Thani Public Company Limited (DTC), one of Thailand’s foremost hotel and property development companies, has expanded into the high-end vacation rental market through the full acquisition of Elite Havens, the leading provider of high-end vacation rentals in Asia.

DTC made the acquisition through its wholly owned Hong Kong-incorporated subsidiary, Dusit Overseas Company Limited, which has bought all shares in LVM Holdings Pte Ltd. (LVMH), a Singapore-incorporated company and the ultimate holding company of Elite Havens, for approximately USD 15,000,000 (THB 495,000,000).

Established in 1998, LVMH directly and indirectly holds shares in nine companies in Southeast Asian countries. The largest company of its kind in Asia, it performs integrated marketing, reservations, concierge and management services for luxury villas and currently maintains a network of more than 200 fully staffed properties across Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.

DTC’s acquisition of Elite Havens follows the company’s three-pronged strategy for sustainable and profitable growth, which includes balance, diversification, and expansion, particularly into new market segments, which will enhance DTC’s capacity to provide integrated services and drive revenue growth.
