Dr. Teerakiat Jareonsettasin - Minister of Education and HE Mr. Shiro Sadoshima -Japan Ambassador to Thailand to be key note speakers on the seminar “SMART Education and Human Resources Development Policy in EEC” at AMATA CITY Chonburi’s office. More than 100 of AMATA’s customers and AMATA’s educational partners have attended this seminar.
Dr.Teerakiat has pointed out the important of private sectors involvement in developing technical and vocational human resources in EEC area and shared the latest educational regulation under Mor. 44 that allow foreign educational institutes, both higher education and under-graduate levels, to set up and operate in the EEC area.


H.E. Mr. Sadoshima has shared Thai-Japan initiative on Human Resources Development by focusing on developing “practical and innovative engineer” through Japanese KOSEN model. He also introduced the short-term plan on “Japan Flex Campus”, as the cutting-edge knowledge community in Thailand and in AMATA City Chonburi.


“As AMATA is going toward SMART CITY, SMART people is the key foundation of the development. With more than 300,000 people working in AMATA area, AMATA is one of the largest consumers of human resources in Thailand and ASEAN” said Mr. Vikrom Kromadit


AMATA SMART EDUCATION is the key project to reach AMATA’s goal on “AMATA EDUTown”, The World Class University Town where AMATA will coordinate with international Top-ranked Educational partners and working closely with more than 1,200 companies inside AMATA’s area. Currently, there are 6 educational institutes that have already operated inside AMATA area including new Kindergarten, SISA@ AMATA, that AMATA jointly develop with Singaporean partner, Kinderworld Education Group, who operate more than 10 schools and colleges in SEA.
