สยามพิวรรธน์ ผู้พัฒนาอสังหาริมทรัพย์และธุรกิจค้าปลีกชั้นนำ เจ้าของและผู้บริหาร สยามพารากอน สยามเซ็นเตอร์ สยามดิสคัฟเวอรี่ หนึ่งในพันธมิตรเจ้าของไอคอนสยาม และ สยาม พรีเมี่ยม เอาท์เล็ต กรุงเทพ ได้รับรางวัลเกียรติยศ (Honorary Awards) ในฐานะองค์กรผู้สร้างแรงบันดาลใจด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม การยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิต และการตอบแทนสังคม จากเวทีการประกวดผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมหรือ Thailand Green Design Awards 2023 (TGDA) จากการดำเนินโครงการ Siam Piwat 360° Waste Journey to Zero Waste ที่มุ่งเน้นจัดการขยะแบบครบวงจรตามแนวคิดเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน (Circular Economy) สะท้อนแนวคิดขององค์กรที่มุ่งขับเคลื่อนธุรกิจสู่ความยั่งยืน โดยมีเป้าหมายในการร่วมฟื้นฟู และอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม สร้างโลกของเราให้น่าอยู่ยิ่งขึ้น
นางสาวนราทิพย์ รัตตประดิษฐ์ ประธานบริหารสายงานปฎิบัติการ (Chief Operating Officer) บริษัท สยามพิวรรธน์ จำกัด กล่าวว่า “รู้สึกภูมิใจเป็นอย่างยิ่งที่โครงการ Siam Piwat 360° Waste Journey to Zero Waste ได้รับรางวัลอันทรงเกียรติจากเวที Thailand Green Design Awards 2023 (TGDA) ที่จัดขึ้นเพื่อส่งเสริมหน่วยงานหรือองค์กร ที่พัฒนาโครงการที่เป็นมิตรต่อสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างจริงจังควบคู่ไปกับการปลูกจิตสำนึกให้เห็นถึงผลกระทบที่ดีทั้งในเชิงสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อม รวมถึงมีบทบาทสำคัญในการสร้างจุดเปลี่ยน จุดประกายสังคมให้เกิดความตระหนักรู้เกี่ยวกับสิ่งแวดล้อม กระตุ้นให้เกิดการใช้ชีวิตที่คำนึงถึงผลกระทบเชิงบวกต่อสังคมและโลกใบนี้ โดย Siam Piwat 360° Waste Journey to Zero Waste เป็นหนึ่งในโครงการต้นแบบเพื่อเดินหน้าสู่การเป็นองค์กรขยะเป็นศูนย์ ผ่านการบริหารจัดการของเสียแบบครบวงจรตามแนวคิดเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน นอกจากนี้เรายังเตรียมขยายผลเพื่อต่อยอดแนวคิดการบริหารจัดการคัดแยกขยะไปสู่พื้นที่โดยรอบ ได้แก่ วัด โรงเรียน และชุมชนอีกด้วย ”

Siam Piwat 360° Waste Journey to Zero Waste เป็นโครงการที่มุ่งจัดการขยะแบบ 360 องศา ตั้งแต่ต้นน้ำถึงปลายน้ำ เปิดโอกาสให้ทุกคนมีส่วนร่วมในการดูแลสิ่งแวดล้อม โดยสยามพิวรรธน์ร่วมมือกับพันธมิตรเปิดให้บริการ Recycle Collection Center (RCC) หรือจุดรับวัสดุบรรจุภัณฑ์สะอาดที่ไม่ใช้แล้ว แบบไดร์ฟทรู (Drive-Thru) แห่งแรกในประเทศไทย ซึ่งตั้งอยู่ 2 แห่งในสยามพารากอน ได้แก่ บริเวณลานจอดรถทัวร์หลังสยามพารากอน ฝั่งตรงข้ามโรงเรียนวัดปทุมวนาราม และบริเวณทางออก 4 ถนนพระราม 1 ฝั่งสยามพารากอน กับวัดปทุมวนาราม เปิดให้ลูกค้าและประชาชนคนทั่วไปสามารถนำขยะที่ทำความสะอาด และคัดแยกแล้วจากที่บ้าน มาฝากส่งต่อไปรีไซเคิลเป็นวัตถุดิบ และนำมาเข้ากระบวนการอัพไซคลิ่งเพิ่มมูลค่าให้กับขยะ บางส่วนนำกลับมาจำหน่ายในพื้นที่สำหรับสินค้ารักษ์โลก “อีโค่โทเปีย” สยามดิสคัฟเวอรี นอกจากนี้สยามพิวรรธน์ยังเพิ่มคุณค่าของขยะที่แต่ละคนนำมาร่วมกับโครงการ ด้วยการเปลี่ยนขยะสู่มูลค่าเป็น VIZ Coins เพื่อแลกสิทธิประโยชน์ต่างๆ ภายในศูนย์การค้า ผ่าน ONESIAM SuperApp อีกด้วย

Siam Piwat, a leading real estate and retail developer, the owner and operator of world-renowned projects such as Siam Paragon, Siam Center, Siam Discovery, and a joint venture partner of ICONSIAM and Siam Premium Outlets Bangkok, has received an honorary award from Thailand Green Design Awards 2023 (TGDA) as an organization that inspires environmental awareness, enhance the quality of life and social contribution as a result of the implementation of Siam Piwat 360° Waste Journey to Zero Waste project. The project focuses on integrated waste management based on the concept of the Circular Economy, reflecting Siam Piwat’s concept of driving business toward sustainability with the goal of rehabilitating and conserving the environment, creating a better world.
Ms. Naratipe Ruttapradid, Chief Operating Officer, Siam Piwat Co., Ltd., said, “I am very proud that the Siam Piwat 360° Waste Journey to Zero Waste project has received this prestigious award from Thailand Green Design Awards 2023 (TGDA), held to promote organizations for the significant development of projects that are environmentally friendly, along with raising awareness of the positive impact of environmental conservation, both in terms of society and the environment. These include organizations that play an important role in creating a change, sparking social awareness about the environment, and encouraging a lifestyle that creates positive impacts on society and the planet. Siam Piwat 360° Waste Journey to Zero Waste is one of the prototype projects aiming towards a zero-waste organization through integrated waste management based on the concept of the Circular Economy. We are also preparing to expand and extend the waste management concept to the surrounding areas, including temples, schools and communities.”

Siam Piwat 360° Waste Journey to Zero Waste project focuses on 360-degree waste management from upstream to downstream, opening the opportunity for everyone to take part in conserving the environment. As part of the project, Siam Piwat has collaborated with partners to launch the Recycle Collection Center (RCC), the first drive-thru collection points for unused and cleaned packaging waste materials in Thailand, located at 2 locations in Siam Paragon: the tour bus parking area behind Siam Paragon, Opposite Wat Pathum Wanaram School and around Exit 4, Rama 1 Road, on the Siam Paragon and Wat Pathum Wanaram side. The collection points are open to customers and the general public. Participants can deposit cleaned and sorted waste, which will be sent to be recycled into raw materials and then upcycled to add value to the waste. Some of these upcycled products can be found at “Ecotopia”, a retail space for eco-friendly products at Siam Discovery. In addition, Siam Piwat also adds value to the deposited waste, allowing participants to exchange their waste into VIZ Coins via ONESIAM SuperApp, which can be used to claim various benefits in shopping centers.
